William "Bill" Guy Smith, 67 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Witham Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 13, 1940 in New Albany, Indiana, son of Kenneth Smith and Sylvan Smith.
He married Barbara Perry on Aug 2, 1963. She survives.
He was a member of Jamestown Christian Church.
He retired from Conrail Railroad.
Surviving are daughter, Tina Lear of Jamestown, sons, Matt Smith of Veedersburg and David Smith of Lebanon, mother, Sylvan Seebach of New Albany, brother, James L. Smith of Jeffersonville, sister, Nancy Ricketts of New Albany and 7 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father Kenneth Smith, Step-father, William Seebach and brother, Kenny Smith.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 21, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown
Services will be held at Jamestown Christian Church, Friday, June 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Larry Pierson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
