Walter "Walt" Winters, 55, of New Ross, passed away October 5, 2015, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Walt was born November 21, 1959,in Lebanon, a son of the late Carl "Sonnie" B. Winters Jr. and Janet J. (Lane) Winters.

Walt was a staple at New Ross Steakhouse and Dick & Judy's in Jamestown. He was a very private and gentle man and he loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children Heather (Brandon) Weaver of Greencastle and Justin Winters; his sisters Debbie Moran of Kendalville and Sherri Winters of Indianapolis; his grandchildren Mathew Weaver and Ziara Weaver; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, October 10, 2015 for visitation from 11:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
