Vivian Kathleen Grimes, 82 years old, formerly of Advance, passed away Friday January 26 in her home in Merrill, Wisconsin.

She was born August 5, 1924 in Crawfordsville, Indiana daughter of the late Chester S. Caldwell and Nannie C. (Todd) Caldwell.

She was preceded in death by brothers Donald "Chick" Caldwell and Ralph D. Caldwell.

She married Alva Grimes on October 25, 1945. He survives.

She was a member of New Ross Methodist Church. She worked at Farmers Creamery and retired from Culver Union Hospital as an Administrative Secretary.

Surviving are daughters, Sharon (Raymond) Bahney, Sue (Stan) Collins and Cheryl (Patrick) Gano and son, Gary (Rhoda) Grimes, 10 grandchildren, 2 step-granddaughters, 14 great-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren Friends will be received Monday, January 29, 2007 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Rodger Ward officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
