Stephen R. Lee's Obituary
Stephen R. Lee, 56 years old of Plainfield, IN, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 , from pancreatic cancer.
He was born July 14, 1951 in Lebanon, Indiana, Son of Roy Lee, Jr. and the late Kathleen Courtney White.
He was a 1969 graduate of North Salem High School and a 1974 graduate of The School of the Ozarks.
He worked as a salesman and a carpenter
.
He enjoyed watching any kind of sporting events, fishing, reading and puzzle books.
He was the beloved brother of Sandy (Paul) Hardin of Plainfield and the uncle of Chad and Corey Hardin. He is also survived by aunts and uncles,Nonie Delp,Marcella(Gene)Kisner, Jack(Linda)Lee, Bob Lee,Joan(Jim)Gouchenour,Maxine Freeland,Ralph(Emma Jean)Lee and Marjorie(Bob) Miller. The family would like to thank Beth and Emily of Ruth Lilly Yellow Rose Hospice for the wonderful care and love shown to Steve these past few weeks.
Friends will be received 5:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday, February 19 at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana.
Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00am.
Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association or the Ruth Lilly Yellow Ross Hospice at Methodist Hospital.
