Shirley Regina Moxley, 71 years old of North Salem, IN, died Sunday, August 9, 2009 in St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital.

She was born September 29, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN, daughter of the late Noble Lewis and Esther Burkett Walker.

She married Ransal Moxley on October 7, 1961. He survives.

She was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Pittsboro Order of the Eastern Star. She was president of the Tops Club and president for 7 years of the CC Club.

She worked as a permit coordinator for the State Board of Animal Health.

Surviving are sons, Kevin Ray Moxley, and James Allen Moxley, sister, Madonna Wright, brother, Michael Walker, and 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son, David Michael Moxley.

Friends will be received Thursday, August 13, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Jamestown United Methodist Church, Friday, August 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Brent Wright officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
