Samuel Isaac (Bud) Golladay, 94 years old of New Ross, IN, died Friday, November 28, 2008 in Williamsburg Health Care in Crawfordsville.

He was born November 16, 1914 in New Ross Indiana, son of the late Fred Golladay and the late Effie Smith Golladay.

He married Winifred Vice in 1939 in Ladoga who preceeds him in death. .

He was a graduate of New Ross High School in 1932.

He was a member of New Ross United Methodist Church. He had retired from New Ross Lumber Company and Traction Auto Parts in Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the New Ross Lion Club. He was the first volunteer of the Walnut Township Fire Dept..

Surviving are Son, Richard (Dick) and his wife Janet Golladay of Crawfordsville, grandchildren Tim Golladay, Doug (wife Debbie) Golladay of Crawfordsville and Patrick (wife Jona) Golladay of New Ross and 5 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife Winifred, a son John and a sister Louise Jarvis..

Friends will be received 4:00 until 8:00pm Monday, December 1 at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 2:00pm with Rodger Ward officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Ross Cemetery, New Ross, Indiana.

Contributions may be made to the Walnut Township Volunteer Fire Department.
