Ronald Edward "Ed" Clark, 85, of North Salem, Indiana, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Life's Journey of Avon.  He was born December 15, 1937, in Rockville, Indiana, a son of the late Ronald Edmond and Zeta Almeida (Carmichael) Clark.

On October 12, 1960, he was married to Helen Faye (Smith) Clark. She preceded him in death on November 26, 2019.

He was a 1956 graduate of North Salem High School. Following school, Ed served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956–1960 and served in the Reserves from 1960–1962.

Ed was a lifelong, dedicated farmer.  He was a member of the Danville American Legion and North Salem Masonic Lodge.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and loved his family dearly.

Survivors include two daughters, Deb Clark of Brownsburg and Karen (Tammy Ballard) Clark of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Janelle Compton; and sister, Mary Helen Russell of North Salem.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Ed was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Ed's life from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home 6 South California Street, in North Salem, Indiana.
