Ronald Lee Barnhart, 70 of North Salem, IN, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

He was born June 22, 1947 in Lebanon, IN, son of the late Frank Eldridge and Opal Lucille (Broach) Barnhart. Ron married Jane Morrical on July 3, 2002. She preceded him in death.

He was a member of Danville American Legion, enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and visiting with friends.

Ron is survived by his son, Ron Norman of North Salem, brother, Jerry (Linda) Barnhart of Brownsburg, sister, Judy (Joe) Nave of Plainfield and several nieces and  nephews.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Robert and Donnie Barnhart and sisters, Phyllis and Lois.

There will be a Graveside Service, Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, IN with Pastor Greg Way officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Animal Shelter, 250 E. Campus Blvd, Danville, IN 46122.
