Robert "Bob" E Roult, 92 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 in Homewood Health Campus.

He was born March 21, 1917 in Jamestown, IN, son of the late Fred and Helen Gibson Roult.

He was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church, F&AM Lodge 200, Jamestown American Legion Post 395, Indiana Retired Teacher's Association, Boone County Historical Society, and the Order of Eastern Star in Pittsboro.

He served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War

He graduated from Indiana University and received his Masters in Education from Butler University.

He worked as a Jackson Township Trustee and retired from teaching from Anderson Community Schools.

He was a volunteer for Witham Memorial Hospital and the Boone County Cancer Society.

Surviving are his niece, Leslie (Jim) Ciccarelli, nephews, Craig (Delores) Foster and Alan (Chris) Foster, and cousin, Hugh (Janet) Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Anna Lou Foster.

Friends will be received Sunday, December 6, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Brent Wright officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
