Mr. Richard Lee Stone, 67, passed away at IU Heath Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 1, 2021. He was born in Normal, Illinois on September 8, 1954; a son of Lessie Maurine (Walker) Stone and the late George Francis Stone.

He was a graduate of Granville Wells High School and received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Ball State University. Richard was a machinist with Allison Transmissions in Indianapolis.

Richard was a member of Harvest House International Church in Mooresville. He helped many people find their way through faith and fellowship and was an officer with the Westside Club-Indianapolis AA. He was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed fishing and Indy 500 and NASCAR races. Richard was a kind, thoughtful and deeply loved his family.

Survivors include his mother, Lessie Stone of Idaho (formerly of Jamestown and Brownsburg); children, Brandon (Amanda) Stone of Avon, Ohio,   Brittany (Robbie) McKenna of Norwalk Ohio, Dustin (fiancée, Alexis) Stone of Norwalk, Ohio; grandchildren, Lucas Stone, Audrey Stone, Zak McKenna, Claire McKenna, Kaitlyn McKenna; one brother, Harold (Brenda) Stone of Idaho.

Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Westside Club-Indianapolis AA: 2320 South Tibbs Ave, Suite C, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory of Jamestown has been entrusted with his care.
