With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved sweet boy, Rhett Jeffrey William Stewart, born on November 21, 2024, at 12:47 p.m. Rhett had weight in this world 1 lb. 4 oz. to be exact. A beautiful baby boy that brought immense joy to every life he touched during his brief 2 and a half days on earth.

Rhett entered this world full of spunk, determined to suck his little thumb, and was a fighter. Rhett experienced holding his mommy and Gigi's fingers, hugs and kisses, Gigi's terrible singing, snuggles, being told "I love you" an unaccountable number of times, and unconditional love.

Rhett passed peacefully, in the arms of his mother on November 23, 2024. Rhett was proceeded in death by his Papaw Jeffrey Stewart, who is now holding him gently in heaven, as well as many other extended family members.

Rhett is survived by his mother, MaKenzie Stewart of Rockville, Indiana; brothers, River Stewart and Ryder Stewart-Barrett of Rockville, Indiana; grandparents, Amanda Stewart (Gigi) and William "Joel" Brooks (Papa Joel) of Rockville, Indiana; uncles, Landin Moore and Logan Moore of Rockville, Indiana; great grandmother, Penny Stewart (Mamaw) of Brazil, Indiana; great uncle, Ethan Stewart (Clarissa) "Sissy & Sissa" of Indianapolis, Indiana; as well as other family members.

Private Family Services will be held. Services have been entrusted to Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory, North Salem, Indiana.

The family would like to thank the staff at Riley Maternity Tower NICU, with a special thank you to RN Hailey, RN Jonathon "Jono", RT Taylor and RN Kendall. Also, a special thank you to RN Janie & RN Courtney (Mother-Baby Unit Floor 5).
