Raymond Lieske's Obituary
Raymond Alfred Lieske, 84 of North Salem, IN, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in St Vincent Hospital.
He was born October 31, 1932 in Hendricks County, IN, son of the late John Anthony and Clara Ernestine "Brandt" Lieske. Raymond married Rita Marie Hunt. She survives.
He was a member of North Salem Methodist Church. Raymond served his country in the US Army with the Korean War. He loved fishing at Fleece's Lake and enjoyed gardening. He was a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his wife, Rita Marie, he is survived by his son, Steven Ray (Cheryl) Lieske, daughter-in-law, Kelly Joan Lieske and grandchildren, Wyatt Hunt Lieske and Allison Paige Lieske. He was preceded in death by son, Ted Brandt Lieske and siblings, Harold, Russell, Lucille, Helen, Virginia, June and Ruth Lieske.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the North Salem Methodist Church, North Salem, IN. Services will be held at the church, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Ann Spahr officiating. Raymond will be laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery.
