Rae Ann Summers, 41, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at her home in Jamestown, Indiana. She was born on March 24, 1980 in Lebanon, a daughter of Mark Summers and the late Brenda Sue (Abney) Summers.

She graduated from Western Boone Jr. Sr. High School and attended IUPUI. She  worked in the deli department at Jamestown IGA for many years.

Rae was a sweet and caring person who always thought of others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her family and lovingly defended them throughout her life. She especially loved playing video games with her nephew, Evan. Rae will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother, Rae was preceded in death by a sister, Danyele Summers and paternal grandparents, Kenneth & Norabelle Summers.

Visitation is planned for Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20 at the funeral home in Jamestown.  Interment will follow services at IOOF Cemetery in Jamestown.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
