Norris R. Rogers, 92, of Roachdale, IN, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle, IN.

He was born November 15, 1926 at his grandparent's home southeast of Roachdale, son of the late Sylvin E. and Estie Kay (Keck) Rogers. He married Ruth M. (Judy) Byram on May 17, 1945.

He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church and a past member of VFW Roachdale.

Norris is survived by his sons, Larry Richard (Diana), Jack Lee, Randall Dee and Danny Edward (Sharon) and daughter, Nancy Kay (Mike), 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Judy Rogers and sister Betty Jean.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, December 6, 2018, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Roachdale Christian Church, Roachdale, IN. Service will be held Friday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Norris will be laid to rest in the Epperson Cemetery, Barnard, IN.
