Nancy Thomas, 101 of Jamestown, IN, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Danville Regional Rehab.

She was born June 25, 1916 in London, KY, daughter of the late Benjamin and Delora (Proffit) Johnson. Nancy married William C. Thomas on November 20, 1934. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching Jeff Gordon race and spending time with her family.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Everett (Mary Lou) Thomas of Danville, Roy David (Karen) Thomas of Indianapolis, Donald Thomas of Indianapolis, Ricky Thomas of Lizton, daughters, Mary Thomas of Jamestown, Virginia Sue Hayes of Ladoga, Betty (Bob) Urban of Lebanon, daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Thomas of Jamestown, 28 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 51 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Thomas and sons, Ernest, Joe Edward and William Henry Thomas.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, January 20, 2018, 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Nancy will be laid to rest in the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
