Mildred Lucille Booker of Roachdale, IN passed away October 13, 2020. She was born October 30, 1928 to the late Homer and Ritta (Meltabarger) Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Booker, a daughter, Sandra Bachert, grandson, Michael Bachert and four sisters; Louise Robbins, Lois Vaughn, Naomi Nelson and Ruby Martin.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Pamela (Ron) Saunders, granddaughter, Danielle Dickson, grandson, David Bachert, great-granddaughters, Kira and Kasandra King, brother, Spencer Martin and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Monday, October 19, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Porter & St. Pierre Funeral Home, North Salem, IN. Mildred will be laid to rest in the Roachdale Cemetery, Roachdale, IN.

I want to give a special thank you to her niece, Fay Kinkead, who stayed with her, gave her loving care and made it possible for her to remain in her own home.

Following state and federal mandates, face coverings will be required for those in attendance.
