Martha Cooper, 90 of Jamestown, IN, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.

She was born October 17, 1927 in Hazard, KY, daughter of the late John M. and Olivia (Napier) Fugate. Martha married Porter Cooper.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Jamestown, where she and Porter were one of the first 3 families that formed the church. She enjoyed gardening and doing needlepoint canvas.

Martha is survived by her son, Billy J. Cooper and daughter, Joan Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and Elizabeth "Betty" Sweet.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, April 19, 2018, 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana with Bro. Phil Clements officiating. Martha will be laid to rest in the Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, Indiana.
