Marcia Beth Kisner Sowders, 90, of North Salem, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on July 2, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Carl and Mable (Williams) Kisner.

Marcia's greatest love has always been her family, who absolutely adored her. She enjoyed reading her Bible, caring for others, collecting dolls, books, and Thomas Kinkade paintings. Her favorite pastime was thrifting and bargain shopping with her daughter Kathy.

She was preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) in 1989, and siblings, Gene and David Kisner.

Marcia is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Jan and Rick McDowell of Evansville, Indiana, and Kathy and David May of Williamsport, Indiana. She was blessed with seven grandchildren; Jason McDowell (Kristine), Kristen Ash (Nathan), Molly Bosecker (Ryan), Dr. Bryan McDowell (Taylor), James McDowell, Wes May (Amanda), and Aaron May (fiancée Abbi); and thirteen great-grandchildren: Kaleia, Kapri, Makai, Callan McDowell, Kami and Avery Ash, Emmy and Rhen Bosecker, Chandler McDowell, Kacey, Matthew, Kaylee May, and James May. She also leaves behind; sisters-in-law: Tinie Kisner and Joan Kisner; and a cousin, Arlene Sparks.

Funeral Services have been rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Porter & Hunt Funeral Home and Crematory, 6 South California Street, in North Salem, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in North Salem.
