Ethel Mae Huckstep, 97 years old of Crawfordsville, IN, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 in the Lane House.

She was born October 14, 1916 in Hendricks County, IN, daughter of the late McDaniel and Hannah Evelyn (Reed) Frazier.

Mae married Hubert Hicks Huckstep on November 17, 1938 in Clermont, IN. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist and the Jamestown Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are sons, Fred (Carole) Huckstep of Crawfordsville and Donald (Jennifer) Huckstep of Jamestown, 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Frazier, Claude Frazier and George Frazier and sisters, Carrie Henry, Martha Stoner, Betty Maddox and Mary Alice Frazier.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, September 27, 2014, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. A graveside service will follow with Pastor Art Thomas officiating. Mae will be laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery in North Salem.
