Linda Suzzanne Toney, 70 years old of North Salem, IN, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Hendricks Regional Hospital.

She was born March 20, 1938 in Monroe City, IN, daughter of the late Austin Bonewits and Reba Hutcheson Bonewits.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

She was retired from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Office of the President.

Surviving are her husband, Marcus A. Toney and son, Gus M Toney of Avon, daughter, Tracey S. (David) Snapp of Brownsburg, Grandchildren, Natasha (James) L Boles, Jacob Toney, Elijah Toney, Noah Toney, David Snapp, Marcus Snapp, Great-Grandchildren, James Boles, Isabelle Cafouras, Cameron Cafouras, Brother, Robert (Jane) A Bonewits, Sisters, Nancy (Robert) (Bonewits) Rarey and Judith (Thomas) (Bonewits) Hendrickson.

She was preceded in death by son, Phillip J. Toney.

Friends will be received Friday, January 30, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana.

Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Brownsburg Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in the Boone Hutcheson Cemetery, Reelesville, IN.
