Beverly "Kay" Freeman, 82, of North Salem, passed away, Monday, August 3, 2020.

She was born January 4, 1938 in Bloomington, IN, daughter of the late George Wishart and Dorothy Burks McElhinney. She married Charles B. Freeman on February 16, 1957.

Kay loved gardening and painting. She loved spending time with children and had a daycare in her home in North Salem for many years. Kay loved the Lord and served Him faithfully.

She is survived by her children; Peri Henry, Kipper Freeman, Nikki Clark and Kyle Freeman, her siblings; Dean, Lane, Nyle and Tana McElhinney, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Soni Griffith and brother, Terry McElhinney.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Church, 47 Beachway Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46224. Please have all flowers delivered to the church.
