Joshua Paul Hieston, 33 of Carmel, IN, passed away in peace, Monday, January 6, 2020.

He was born April 21, 1986 in Indianapolis, IN, son of Allen Jay Hieston and Karen Paul-Stovall.

He enjoyed drawing, tattoo artistry and had a strong love for animals.

Joshua is survived by his mother; Karen (Kevin) Paul-Stovall, father; Jay (Lisa) Hieston, sisters; Megan (Alex) Petit and Tasha (Jeffery) Wertz, nephew; Paxton Dixon, niece; Abigail Wertz, ex-wife; Amber Beam, daughters; Emma Hieston and Ashlyn Lee and grandmother; Virginia Paul.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather; John Paul, grandparents; Doyel and Barbara Hieston and cousin; Ryan Paul.

The family wishes to have a small private service for Joshua.
