John F. Muse, 69 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at his residence.

He was born April 13, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN, son of the late John J. and Helen Marie Parsley Muse.

He was a member of NRA, SASS (Single Action Shooting Society), Johnson County Antique Machinery Association, Boone County Antique Tractor & Machinery Club, Inc. (Lebanon), Two-Cylinder Club (Grundy Center, IA) & Ben Hur Antique Automobile Club (Crawfordsville, IN).

He was a Specialized Model Machinist.

Surviving are son, Brian K. (Debbie) Muse, daughter, Andrea C. (Scott) Hill, beloved friend, Georgia Mitchell, sister, Linda (Richard) Willis, grandchildren, Shyanne Gibbs, Emilee Muse, Olivia Hill, Landon Hill, and nephews, Bart, Burt & Gene Austin.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlene (Sherry) Austin & Mitzie Bannon.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 21, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Wally Beam officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
