John H Henry, 76 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at his residence.

He was born February 3, 1934 in North Salem, IN, son of the late Grafton and E. Justine Huron Henry.

He married Norma J. Whalen Moore on May 5, 2008. She survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He attended Advance Community Christian Church and was a member of the Jamestown American Legion. He enjoyed traveling.

He retired from Allison a division of General Motors in 1997.

Surviving are sons, Ronald Fellin Henry of Monrovia and Raymond (Linda) Tolle, of CA, daughter, Kathy (Francis) Stein of Roachdale, brothers, Robert (Marjorie) Henry and Wayne (Judy) Henry, both of Jamestown, sisters, Mary Margaret Graham and Anna Lee Graham, both of Lebanon, Step-daughters, Cindy (Robert) Shelton of Jamestown, Debbie (Jeff) Heath and Karen Hiatt, both of Lebanon, step-son, Dennis (Pam) Moore of Lebanon, 3 granddaughters, 10 step-grandchildren, 18 step great-grandchildren and 1 step great great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Edith Henry, sons, George Daniel (Danny) Fellin and Donald D. Henry and 1 granddaughter, Angela Fellin.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 8, 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Harlan Kincade officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F.Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
