Joan Cooper, 72, of Jamestown, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.  She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana, on April 16, 1950, the daughter of the late Porter and Martha Lee (Fugate) Cooper.

She was a 1968 graduate of Howe High School and received a bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Joan retired as a civil servant worker.  She attended Jamestown Church of God of Prophecy and enjoyed playing the piano and working on crafts.

Joan leaves behind her brother, Billy Joe Cooper of Jamestown.

Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 p.m. noon on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home in Jamestown.

Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
