Mr. James Goodenough, Jr., 56, of Jamestown, passed away March 31, 2017, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
James was born on April 14, 1960, in Gold, PA, the son of James Norman and Maude Goodenough. He married Frederica (Ferguson) Goodenough. She survives.
James served as a Sergeant in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife Frederica Goodenough of Jamestown; his parents James N. and Maude Goodenough; his sons Ray Geiger and his wife Jaymee of Frankfort, Charles Geiger, Cody Goodenough of Virginia Beach, VA, Alexander Geiger of Jamestown, and Matthew Goodenough; his daughters Bonnie Ferguson of Jamestown and Joanna Goodenough of O'Fallon, IL; and several brothers and sisters.
Family and friends will gather Tuesday, April 4, 2017 for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. in the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown. James will be laid to rest at Jamestown IOOF Cemetery in Jamestown. You are invited to visit the website www.porterfuneralhome.us where you may sign his online register and leave a personal message.
