James A Frazier, 101 years old of New Ross, IN, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 in Avon Health and Rehab.

He was born August 14, 1906 in Scott Co, VA, son of the late McDaniel Frazier and Hannah Reed Frazier.

He married Opal Stewart Sept 26, 1929 & she still survives.

He was a member of Harvestime Fellowship Church for many years and he and Opal were contributors to its founding.

He was a life long farmer and lived at his New Ross farm for 70 years. He also built fences for farmers.

Surviving are daughters, Patty (Woody) Woodrum, Marge (Joe) Stultz, Joyce (Art) Thomas, Sons, Ted (Marilyn) Frazier, Ron (Leslie) Frazier, 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Mae Huckstep.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Friends will be received Sunday, March 16, 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Monday, March 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Art Thomas officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.
