Jack E Walker, 74 years old of Pittsboro, IN , died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at his residence
He was born August 30, 1934 in North Salem, IN, son of the late George Walker and Zona Sparks Walker.
He was a member of North Salem Christian Church.
He married Janet Pearcy in February, 1963. She survives.
He served with the Army Paratroopers until his discharge in 1960.
He worked as a supervisor for General Motors for 23 years, retiring in 1987.
Surviving daughters, Julie Walker of Pittsboro and Jill Walker of Brownsburg.
He was preceded in death by sister, Virginia Fitch, and brothers, Marion (Bo) Walker & Robert (Bob) Walker.
Friends will be received Friday, December 26, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana.
Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Friday, December 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with Gary Walker officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 6100 W 96th St # 200, Indianapolis, IN 46278 or to Cancer Research, c/o Phi Beta Psi Sorority, P.O. Box 14, Pittsboro, IN 46167
