J B McKinney, 65 years old of Crawfordsville, IN, died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at his residence.

He was born September 8, 1942 in Quail, KY, son of the late Robert J. McKinney and Myrtle Taylor McKinney.

He worked in shipping at R.R. Donnelleys for 38 years.

Surviving are daughters, Brenda Mills, Christina Bischof, & Nicole McKinney, sons, Donald McKinney, Rick McKinney, Jeff McKinney, Aaron McKinney, J.B. McKinney, Jr., & Robert McKinney, sisters, Norma Martin of MI, Juanita Edwards of Jamestown, Ruby Woodall of Jamestown, Susie (Bert)Hale of Jamestown, & Bonnie Patterson of KY, brothers, Raymond McKinney of Pittsboro, Olney McKinney of Jamestown, 14 Grandchildren & 2 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Sherman McKinney & Truman McKinney & sister, Stella Smith.

Friends will be received Wednesday, August 6, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Mark McKinney officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.

There will be a dinner immediately after the service at the Church of God of Prophecy, E. Elm Street, Jamestown.
