Obituary

Helen Maxine Hopper, 93 years old of Bon Air, VA, formerly of Jamestown, died Friday, February 1, 2008.

She was born January 10, 1915 in Reno, IN, daughter of the late Tighlman A. & Verna Owens Greenlee.

She was a member of Jamestown Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star in Pittsboro.

She retired from Bridgeport Brass of Indianapolis. After retiring she and her husband owned the Overnight Campground in Jamestown.

Surviving are daughters, Constance L Seward & Shirley L Foutz, son, Larry B Laudig, Step-daughter, Judith Hopper McFerran, 11 Grandchildren, and 8 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Everett Hopper, stepson, James A Hopper, brothers, Harter, Howard & Phillip Greenlee, sisters, Grace Walton, Marion Jeffries, Doris Johnston, Lydia Beck & Lorene Seaman and 1 grandchild.

Friends will be received Wednesday, February 6, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana with services immediately following. Rev. Larry Pierson will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ragan Cemetery, New Winchester.
