Harry Thomas Blume, 96 of Jamestown, IN, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018.

He was born June 24, 1922, son of Herman J. and Mary Virginia Blume. He married Mary Oney on September 29, 1953. She preceded him in death.

Harry was a WWII veteran and retired after 30 years of service from the Indianapolis Fire Department as a chauffeur. He lived his life to the fullest. He loved guns, horses, trap shooting, boats, motorcycles and trading vehicles. He entered and won several motorcycle hill climbs. He was strong, funny and loved and sometimes scary to his kids. He loved watching son, Andy, and grandchildren, Mike and Samantha race ATV's.

He is survived by his children: Mary Joann Blume, Matthew Thomas Blume and Michael Thomas (Phyllis) Blume; grandkids: Michael T. (Taryn) Stewart, Cathy Blume, Samantha (Derrick) Schaible and Mary Beth Blume; and great-grandkids: Braiden and Ava Jade.

Graveside service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in North Salem, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7 ^th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
