Grace Eileen Swain, 84 years old of Lizton, IN, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in Hendricks Regional Health.
She was born October 2, 1926 in San Diego, CA, daughter of the late William Rodgers and Grace Thomas Rodgers.
She married Richard Hiatt Swain on September 29, 1945. He survives.
She was a member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ.
She was a fabulous housewife and mother.
Surviving are her daughters, Janice (Jim) Hedge of Heritage Lake and Marilyn (Bill) Brown of Danville, IL, sons, Richard E. (Amy) Swain of Ft. Wayne, Thomas (Sandy) Swain of Beech Grove, Jeff (Suzette) Swain of Greenwood, brother, Ed Rodgers of Emet, CA, 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Monday, November 29, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Jim Coyle officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lizton K of P Cemetery, Lizton, Indiana.
