Gordon E. Simon, 63, North Salem, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Hendricks Regional Health. He was a life time farmer and a self employed truck owner operator for Jet Star. He graduated from North Salem High School. Gordon was an active member of Emanuel Baptist Church. He loved to travel, talk to and raze people he cared about. He also dearly loved his 2 grand kids.

Gordon was born Sept 24, 1943 to Charles & Beulah Simon of North Salem.

He married Linda Crump on Aug. 14, 1971. She survives.

Survivors include three sons; Lance Simon, James P. Simon, & Brian Simon. Sisters are Barbara Simon, Dorothy Moore, Linda Hancock & one brother Charles Simon. He was preceeded in death by his brother John Simon, sister, Betty Liskie, and nephews Greg Liskie & Calvin Simon. He was "Uncle Buck" to nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20, 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home in North Salem.

Memorial service will be at Porter Funeral Home on Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers you may donate to the Baptist church in his name.
