George (Jim Buck) Neff 86 years old of Jamestown Passed away Sunday morning. He was born April 5, 1920 in Jamestown, Indiana the son of the late Bert Neff and the late Sarah Maude Stamper Neff. He had attended Jamestown Schools. He married Doris Lorene McAnulty on Sept. 19, 1941 in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death. He was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church, a charter member of both the Jamestown American Legion Post #395 and the Jamestown Lions CLub, a retired ISHAA basketball official and an avid sports fans. He retired from Allisons Transmissions in Indianapolis in 1980 as a Supervisor in the Heat Treat Dept.. He was a veteran of WWII in the Navy as a Navy Diver. Surviving are his daughters, Linda Randle (Jay) of Jamestown, Penny Dyer (Ed) of Brownsburg, Sondra Gullion (Robert) of Greenfield, Judy Hannum (George) of Crawfordsville, Brothers, Doug Neff of Crawfordsville and Bill Neff of Jamestown, sisters Martha Baumgardner of Lizton, Lois Lewis and Rosetta Kincaid of Crawfordsville and his faithful friend Molly his dog. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Lorene McAnulty Neff and a brother Dean Neff. Calling hours will be Monday November 20, at the Porter Funeral Home In Jamestown from 3:00 until 8:30pm.Funeral Services will be Tuesday November 21, at the Jamestown Christian Church at 10:30am Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
