Frederick Carroll Easter, 67 of North Salem, IN, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at his residence.

He was born August 22, 1940 in Indianapolis, son of the late Frederick S. & Estile Easter.

He was a member of North Salem Christian Church, Indianapolis Valley of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite & F&A.M. 162. He worked with the food pantry at church, & was a Scout Master for 30 yrs,

He worked as a Supervisor for Allison's & was an EMT for over 30 years.

Surviving are son, Timothy Easter of North Salem, daughter, Tara Umberger of Frankton, 10 Grandchildren, & 3 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Lou Easter, son, Anthony Wayne Easter, a brother & a sister.

Friends will be received Saturday, January 5 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with John D. Gossett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.
