Emma Lucille "Lucy" Vance, 86 years old of Jamestown, IN, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at her residence.

She was born March 31, 1924 in Pickens, WV, daughter of the late Sadie Bell Ringer.

She married Harry B. Vance on September 8, 1949. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and animal lover.

Surviving are sons, Michael D. Vance of Jamestown, David B. Vance of Indianapolis, daughter, Harriet D. (Vance) Hubble and husband, Rodney of Jamestown, grandchildren, Steven M. Vance, Travis S. Vance, Christopher S. Vance, Wesley A. Hubble, and Cassandra K. (Hubble) Moll, great-grandchild, Karisma Grace Moll, and special friend, Malcolm MacDonald.

She was preceded in death by brother, Elmer Wooten, and sister, Louise Harvey.

Friends will be received Friday, May 14, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
