Elsie I. Hoskins, 85 years old of Greenfield, IN, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Hancock Regional Hospital.

She was born April 14, 1929 in Indianola, IL, daughter of the late Jesse and Lucretia (Ponder) Hurst.

Elsie married Charles Edward Hoskins on December 12, 1947 in Indianola, IL. He preceded her in death.

She was a former member of Harvestime Fellowship in Jamestown and a present member of First Church of God in Greenfield.

Surviving are sons, Charles Ray (Linda) Hoskins of Greenfield, IN and Rex Allen (Janet) Hoskins of Howell, MI and grandchildren, Matthew and Brian Hoskins.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, William, Oscar, Elmer, Marian, Paul, Russell, Roy and Charles Hurst.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, February 25, 2015, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, February 26, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Art Thomas and Ira Scott officiating. Elsie will be laid to rest in the Shannondale Cemetery, Shannondale, IN.
