Elizabeth "Beth" Barker 91 years old of North Salem Passed away May 5 in Hendricks Regional Hospital. She was born Nov. 8,1914 in Brownsburg Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Ora Parsons and the late Nellie Barlow. She married Lawrence R. Barker on Aug.10,1935. She was a graduate of Brownsburg High School. She worked at Smith's Regal Store In North Salem for over 30 Years. Surviving are a son,Morris (Janet) Barker of Ohio, a son Gerrell (Beverly) Barker of Roachdale a son Donald (Missy) Barker of Ladoga a sister, Marie Surber a Half Brother, Eugene Parsons and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Lawrence, a brother,a half brother, a half sister and 2 great grandsons. Visiting hours will be Monday May 8, from 4:00 until 8:00pm at the Porter Funeral Home in North Salem. Services will be Tuesday May 9 in the Funeral Home at 10.30am. Contributions may be made to The North Salem Christian Church or the Fairview Cemetery Association in North Salem.
