Donnie Barnhart, 65 years old of North Salem, IN, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 in Methodist Hospital.

He was born September 13, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of the late Frank Barnhart and Opal Broach.

He was a member of North Salem Masonic Lodge.

He worked as a Brick Mason for many years and was currently self-employed.

Surviving are daughter, Donna (John) Learned of Indianapolis, son, Donnie (Julie) Barnhart of Quincy, MI, sister, Phyllis Lewis of North Salem, sister, Judy (Joe) Nave of Fillmore, IN, brother, Frank Barnhart of Brownsburg, brother, Jerry (Linda) Barnhart of Indianapolis, brother, Ronnie (Jane) Barnhart of North Salem, 2 Grandchildren, 3 Great-grandchildren, and Carolyn McKee, a long time friend.

He was preceded in death by brother, Robert Barnhart and sister, Lois "Pat" Clore.

Friends will be received Wednesday, May 16, 2007 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.
