Mrs. Diana Hackleman, 92, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at Independence Village of Avon. Diana was born on December 8, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the youngest of seven children, to William Vincent and Lora (Hamilton) Mandara.

Diana attended Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis.  On November 3, 1950, she was united in marriage to Ward Harold Hackleman in Speedway, Indiana.

In 1962, she and Ward opened Hackleman Auto Collision Repair, operating out of their home in Whitestown, Indiana.  They later expanded the business and moved it to its current location in Danville, Indiana.  Diana enjoyed collectibles and sewing in her spare time.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

After 71 years of marriage, Ward preceded her in death on June 26, 2022.  In addition to her husband, Diana was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters.

Survivors include her three sons, John (Suzie) Hackleman of Crawfordsvillle, Ron Hackleman of Danville, Brad (Deborah) Hackleman of New Ross; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Private Graveside Services were held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana. Porter and Hunt Funeral Home and Crematory of Jamestown was entrusted with her burial arrangements.
