David Anthony Martin, 71 years old of North Salem, IN, died Friday, April 11, 2008 in Hendricks Regional Health.

He was born February 24, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN, son of the late Carl Martin and Nadine Metcalf Martin.

He was a member of Jamestown Church of Christ.

He worked as a manager for Lancer Corp, San Antonio, TX.

Surviving are his wife, Sonja Martin, sons, David Anthony Martin, Jr. of Zionsville, Russell Anthony Martin of Indianapolis, daughters, Maribeth Bender of North Salem, Leigh Ann Staton of North Salem, Ginger Rose Johnson of Seymor and Jerilyn Hairston of Grand Prairie, TX, 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers, Jerry Martin of North Salem, Mike Martin of AL, and Daniel Martin of Chicago, and sister, Delorez Caez of Kendallville, IN.

Friends will be received Monday, April 14, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Denver Niemeyer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Indiana.
