George David Fox, 67 of Danville, IN, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019.

He was born September 2, 1952 in Terre Haute, IN, son of the late William Edward and Mary Margaret (Stott) Fox.

He worked for Conrail as a train engineer, retiring in 1994. Dave loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid reader and enjoyed trains, tractors, farming and hunting.

Dave is survived by his wife, Maribeth Fox, son, Jeremy David (Natalie) Fox, daughters, Jennifer Leigh (Paul) Weigle and Jessica Lynn (TJ) Lovell, brother, Bill Fox, sisters, Shirley (Don) Chisler, Cynthia (Jeff) Wilson, Karen (Tracy) Wheeler and Sandy (Brian) Mahoney and 9 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Northview Christian Church, 623 N. State Road 39, Danville, IN on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m.
