Mrs. Darlene J. Trotter, 85, of Danville, Indiana, passed away Saturday morning, October 8, 2022, at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital.  She was born in Indianapolis, on March 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Webb) Hurin.

On January 25, 1957, she was united in marriage to John Trotter in Miami, Florida.  He preceded her in death on March 28, 2020.

Darlene was a graduate of Danville High School.  She worked as a secretary for the Attorney General of the State of Indiana for fifteen years.

Darlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family dearly.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry (Philip) Hanebutt and Tara (Jerry) Allen; three grandchildren, Jessica Hanebutt Snell, Laura Hanebutt Humphrey, and Callie Allen; and five great grandchildren, Mae, Carys, Owen, Kit, and Bex.

Graveside Services are planned for 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery in North Salem, Indiana. Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory in North Salem has been entrusted with her burial arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice in Darlene's memory.
