Obituary

Curtis D. Cochran, 56 years old of New Ross, Indiana, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in Methodist Hospital. He was born January 6, 1949 in Liberty, Kentucky, son of the late Curtis H. Cochran and Virginia Pennington Cochran. He married Judy Edwards on July 1, 1995 at the New Ross Conservation Club. He was a member and President of the New Ross Conservation Club. He attended Granville Wells Schools and worked for McCutchan Farms in Ladoga and Diamond Chain in Indianapolis.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Edwards Cochran of New Ross, mother Virginia Pennington Cochran of Jamestown, daughters Sheri Knotts of Greenwood, Anna Cochran of Clovis, CA, Tilessa Wallace of Lebanon, as well as step-daughter, Mischelle Brumbaugh of Wingate. He is also survived by three bothers, Rodney Cochran of Jamestown, Mike Cochran of Lebanon, and Kevin Cochran of Zionsville, and four sisters, Diana Plunkett of Jamestown, Debbie Breedlove of Lebanon, Sandy Knox of Lebanon, and Bernetta Puthoff of Janesville, WI as well as seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Curtis H. Cochran.

Friends will be received from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, January 5, 2006 at the Advance Community Christian Church in Advance, Indiana. Services will be held at Advance Community Christian Church, Friday, January 6, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the New Ross Cemetery, New Ross, Indiana.
