Charles R. Patterson, 87, of Jamestown, IN passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020. Son of the late William, d.1980 and Dessie "Nan" Patterson, d. 2002.

Born in Bloomington, IN. Charles went on to graduate from Brownsburg High School in 1951. He married Patty Funkhouser in 1952– together they have two children, Robert D. Patterson and Kelly Sue Patterson.

Charles was drafted in the army in 1953 and discharged in 1955. He went on to Barber College and was in the industry for 10 years, followed by a long career at Linkbelt Bearing, retiring in 1998.  His hobbies included hunting and any sports related games, his favorite being girls softball. He also enjoyed NASCAR races and was one of Bobby Knight's biggest fans.

Charles was a member of Jamestown Church of Christ.

Survivors include wife, Patty of 68 years. Children Robert Patterson, Lebanon and Kelly Patterson, Jamestown. Granddaughters include Megan Patterson, Lebanon, Sara Patterson-Jones, Winter Park, Fl, and Teri Toney, Lebanon. Great grandchildren include Jaylan, Carter, Jaxon, Madelyn, and Callie.

Services will be held at Porter & St Pierre Funeral Home in Jamestown Thursday, December 10, 2002 at 1 P.M. with visitation beginning at 12 P.M. Burial to follow at Jamestown Cemetery. We welcome any and all family and friends, please remember to wear a mask.
