Cecil Edward Frederick, 68 years old formerly of Advance, IN died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at his
home in Lyons, IN

He was born October 3, 1935 in Laurel Co., KY. to the late John Henry & Almeada (Lockaby) Frederick.
He was married to Marilene (Games) Frederick. They divorced. She survives.

He attended the Penticostal Church and enjoyed playing bluegrass & gospel music and enjoyed hunting & fishing.

He worked as a Fork Lift Operator for General Motors Truck & Bus for 27 years before
retiring in 1993.

Surviving are sons,Ron Frederick of Lebanon, IN, Keith Frederick of New Ross, IN, Daughters
Mrs. Paul (Cindy)Walker, Hillsboro,IN; Mrs.Brian(Heidi) Sheets of Thorntown, IN, and Marcy Strawmyer of Lebanon, IN, 12 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren, companion, Julia Crew of Lyons, IN, brothers, Homer Frederick of Indianapolis, IN, Tommy Frederick, Corbin,KY, Eugene Frederick, Crawfordsville,IN, and Harold Frederick, New Ross,IN &
sisters Mrs. Julius(Martha)Ford, Lebanon & Mrs. Herman(Minerva) Keller, Lyons,In.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers & 7 sisters.

Friends will be received 3:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday January 6, 2004 at the Porter Funeral Home, Inc., Jamestown, Indiana.

Services will be held at Porter Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at 2:00PM with
Arthur Thomas officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F.Cemetery, Jamestown, IN 46147.
