Floyd "Bill" Neff, 82, of Jamestown passed away on May 28, 2020.  Born December 5, 1937, the youngest of seven children, he was the son of the late Albert and Sarah Maude (Stamper) Neff.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Connie; daughters Debbie Shubert, Rhonda Hoskins, Angie (Jim) Hieston, son Eric (Julie) Neff, sister Martha Baumgardner, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

He was a member of the last graduating class of Jackson Township High School in 1955 where he played baseball, basketball, and was the Senior Class President.

Bill worked for Phillips 66 in Lawrenceburg in his early years and later moved his family back to Jamestown where he started his own business, Neff SS Service. He was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge and the Jamestown Lions' Club.  Through the years, he served as both deacon and elder at the Jamestown Christian Church and was honored to be named Elder Emeritus in December of last year.

Bill loved sports, whether playing golf, coaching his children's Little League teams or supporting his grandchildren's events at Western Boone.   He adored his family and was never more than a phone call away when anyone needed his help.

A private family service will be held on Monday, June 1 at the Jamestown Christian Church.  Burial will follow at the IOOF cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jamestown Christian Church for the upkeep of the Sports Complex baseball diamonds in Bill's honor.
