Bill Johnson, 70 of Advance, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in Pinellas Park, FL.

He was born June 29, 1949 in Anna, IL, son of the late Carl and Lucille (Poole) Johnson.

He married Judy Trent on May 19, 1968. She preceded him in death. Bill loved his grandkids, his Harley, reading and sitting on the beach in his shorts. He served his country in Vietnam in the 101st Airborne.

He is survived by his sons; Matt (Shari) Johnson and Mike Johnson, daughter; Mandy Johnson, brothers; Bob (Annette) Johnson and Terry (Paula) Johnson, sisters; Pat (Phil) Rader, Debra (Wayne) Wells and Joyce Dremonas, grandchildren; Zac Johnson, Haleigh Randle, Allie Johnson, Billy Johnson, Andrew Johnson, LilliAnn Johnson, Noah Klink, and Alexis Klink, his significant other, Susie Burdine and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Johnson and sisters, Sue Bigham and Barb Eavey.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, October 6, 2019, 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Bill will be laid to rest in the New Ross Cemetery.
