Betty R Cochran, 68 of Jamestown, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
She was born October 4, 1949 in Rockcastle County, KY, daughter of the late Willis and Thelma (Barnes) Childress.
Betty married Rodney L. Cochran on January 22, 1971. She was a member of Harvestime Fellowship Church of Jamestown. She was an owner and partner in Mr. J's Restaurant, Pizza King and Cochran's Catering and Cakes.
In addition to her husband, Rodney, she is survived by her daughters, Amy (Russ) Voils and Beth (Ben) Stokes, grandchildren, Allison, Adam & Emily Voils and Ila & Blake Stokes and siblings, Ray, Zona, Bonnie and Dale.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, David, Raymond, Verla, Mary, Johnny, Louise and Melvin.
Family and friends will gather Sunday, October 22, 2017 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Harvestime Fellowship Church, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at the church, Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Art Thomas officiating. Betty will be laid to rest in the Old Union Cemetery.
