Bernice Opal (Knight) Jones, 98 years old of Jamestown, In. died Monday, March 20, 2006 in Witham Hospital. She was born December 17, 1907 in Kansas, daughter of the late Milton Knight and the late Martha Jane Ramsey. She was a member of the Advance Community Christian Church. She graduated high school in Lenape, Kansas. Surviving are daughter, Beverly Branstetter of Canyon Country, CA, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurel L. Jones, a son Donald Jones, a daughter JoAnn Heath, a grandson Jerry Heath, and 9 brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at the Advance Community Christian Church Thursday, March 23 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Services will be held at Advance Community Christian Church, 10:30am Friday March 24,2006 with Don Thie officiating. Donations may be made to the Advance Community Christian Church. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery, Jamestown Indiana.
